Christy Frecceri, RN
Christy Frecceri specializes in trauma care, emergency care and critical care. She has more than 25 years experience in clinical care, education and management.
Christy is currently trauma program director for a Level 2 trauma center. She has held similar positions at three other designated trauma centers and has been trauma director for a regional EMS agency and trauma coordinator for a county EMS agency. Christy has also been a medical legal nursing expert for emergency and trauma care for several years, initially as a criminal expert in sexual assault cases, and for the past several years as an expert in nursing standards of care.
Christy is nationally recognized by leading medical organizations. She is a member of the American College of Surgeon’s Trauma Systems Evaluation and Planning Committee, a multidisciplinary team of experts advising states about trauma system organization and quality performance. She is also an instructor for the Joint ACS – Society of Trauma Nurses course, “Optimal Trauma Center Organization and Management,” about improving systems of care and patient outcomes.
